★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baguran Jalpai is the veritable place to be nomenclatured as idyllic. Seeking for inner peace and quest for sublimity ends here. It is such a place where man meets nature. A stereotype city-dweller can find ultimate solace and tranquility in the balmy lap of nature. Mostly unexplored and virgin like beach is covered with grey and white sand. There are a good number of casuarina trees in and around the place. The pristine sea water ripples with the magic wind of nature. The eternal ebb and flow of water can sometimes make a thoroughly prosaic man poetic to some extent. Enjoyed mostly by romantic couple, elders can also brood and ruminate their lives by seating under the variegated canopy of the local shop-keepers or at the plush balcony of the only hotel Sagar Niralay. It is better to be avoided during the scorching heat of summer but nature lovers find it illogical to hang with near and dear ones even in summer once the summoning of nature is heard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the most virgin beaches in the sea side area of West Bengal. There's only one resort ( I went there in 2019, things might change now), Sagar Niralay. It works fine for gangs as well as for couples. The beach is almost 500 mtrs away from the resort. There's no problem if you want to stroll down to the beach at night. You will probably love the atmosphere in the beach. There's no shack in the beach but you can get coconut water there but not for sure.
If you want to use local train, you will have to get down at Kanthi and from there you can hire auto ( 300/- per auto) to the resort. If you take bus, you will have to get down at Kanthi Bus stand and from there, you will get auto to the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels like private beach. You can see Red crabs here. Sunset is better than Sunrise. Nice place to spend calm and peaceful time in this white sand beach. Saw few camping tents. Last 200 mts is through farming, ponds with lots of greenery. Only problem here is lack of accomodation (only 1 available although good one). Last 1 km stretch is very narrow. If you are in a four wheeler and another vehicle comes, then really difficult situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very secluded beach near Junput, Medinipur. Less crowded than other beaches of this region. Approach road is little bit tricky during rainy season. Quite long unpaved road, where you can feel difficulties to take your car.
Car is prohibited on sea beach.
Only one place nearby for night stay and few small food stall for coconut water, snacks tea etc. Also some other drinking option ?
Overall it is a very wonderful place if you want to spend some quality time in peaceful nature, enjoy sea breeze and your favorite person and drinks.

Auto is available...but very few.
We went with 2 wheeler... beach is accessible with bike
