★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rating is not for the facilities , commuters get at the station., Rather it's just the reflection of the sentiment of "my place". Good side - surrounding natural view of typical rural bengal, sometimes you'll also enjoy the feeling of being at a "less crowded" place. Flip side - innumerable reasons to curse it. Time flows by, Govt, administration get changed but Chanchai railway station still holds it's 'HALT' tag (at least 6 local trains just don't have a stoppage here !!!) . Improper or unavailability of sheds, pure drinking water and public rest rooms add to the pain of daily commuters :/
