★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a long time wishnet customer and I took service from this provider. My experience with them is good but if line goes down or there is a problem, you are doomed for a week at the least.
Let me explain. Everyone knows that the super cyclone amphan destroyer the essential services here in kolkata. But 13 days has passed after that, but my internet connection is yet to be restored. To add, none of the portions of the cable has been damaged due the cyclone, fortunately.
I'm calling them for last 5 days and everyday they are saying we are working, it will be fixed today. But it didn't. Next day when I called they said we are working near your area, specifically fixing your connection. I guy even came to my house to check the router and said, connection will be restored that day. But guess what? It didn't.
This is happening for last 5 days. Due to this corona situation, I'm working from home. I even explained my situation that I'm under so much pressure for the tasks at hand are getting dragged. But the only thing they said, we are working, connection will be restored today.
This is not the first time this has happened with me. So the support I got from them is straight up bad.
Please think twice before getting service from them.
UPDATE: Finally after 14 days after the cyclone amphan, my internet connection has been restored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have purchased wishnet connection just one month prior, speed is ok no issue with that but sometimes it shows 'no internet connection' although it is pre paid. Secondly I'm using this for my office purpose, my plan expired yesterday and today I recharged my plan online . I received message that my plan is activated still there was 'no internet connection' my work got delayed whole day since morning, I had to use my mobile data but that exhausted within 2 hour. I called my cable Operator he came to check, call the wishnet service provider and the said that my plan has expired and I have not recharged ?
What is this man, whole day I'm unable to access my work.
So it's my question is this wastage of one day that too not because of my fault is going to be refundable ? ?
How can I pay for services which I can't avail. I'm making up my mind to change the connection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big mistake trying to get Wishnet connection from them! Haven't been working before/after cyclone & whenever you call, they'll say that they are working on it and hang up on your face. Ever alternate day, the internet goes completely off and there is no help/support.
Its been 40 days since Amphan & I have no connection right now, even after paying Rs 600 every month.
DO NOT take connection from this provider.
