★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful and peaceful place, it's just two hours drive from Borivali.
This small lush green town is dotted with temples and ashrams.
It can be reached by ST buses from Virar or boriwali station. But frequency is very limited.
There is a ashram and samadhi Mandir of Shri Shri Nityanand Swami ji, with a serene Shiva temple and adjacent hot water spring tanks, which are called kunds.
Whole area is very nicely constructed and clean, always full of sadhus.
Local authorities need to further improve this area to make it more tourists and devotees friendly.
Currently, as on first day of June, 21, everything was closed due to pandemic and we had to go to the banks of the tanasa river to find hot water spring, which was almost boiling hot.
No visitors allowed in shrine at moment.
