★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a historical building where all post related services are provided.It is a very old building and it is constructed before independence. It has an amazing architecture view. In this campus a small park/garden is located and it is very beautiful and well maintained.
overall it is a good office.

The biggest eastern portico functioned as the main entry. The heritage building, initially intended to house 16 employees, now comfortably houses almost 296 officials.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The General Post Office (GPO) houses the headquarters India Post (Bihar Circle). One can book both domestic as well as international couriers here. Timings are 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on Sunday. Apart from postal work one can also avail banking facility at the India Post payment bank. The building and its premises are quite beautiful showcasing the british era architecture!
