★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been diagnosed with hereditary loss. I started rogaine 5% about 10 days ago, I immediately developed a rash and started to shed more than 200 hairs a day and worse when I washed it. My hair was already diffused on top and now it is ten times worse. I wanted to stop use because I could not afford to continue to shed like this. So I consulted Dr Shahid at dr health clinic, indiranagar. He asked me to immediately stop using rogaine… and started my treatment. Based on the nature of my hair loss includes hereditary & scalp conditions he prescribed treatment in 2 Phases During Phase 1 treatment : Hair thinning & Hair fall would be controlled / nullified, including minimizing the negative effects which could have been caused by rogaine and during Phase 2 Hair Growth treatment would be started. Both Phase 1 & Phase 2 should be followed religiously for 3 months. I have completed his phase 1 Treatment and results were good as now I shed only 20-25 hairs a day and upto 30 when I wash it. After the phase 2 treatment he would provide me details of protein rich food which will help me to maintain or retain the hair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been in this state for 3 years from now, i am 37 years old now, and it started when I was 22 years old and still on my college days. At first it was just mild falling hair, and i just shrugged it off cuz I was really too blind about what was happening to me. Then after a few months my condition got worst, I was too busy in my school works it always happen that I forgot to eat meals, I had lacked of sleep and too stress with school stuffs. And then that was the time i started to noticed that my hair loss was no joke, I got worried. I started to scan my head to see if something is wrong and then I found out patches of patches. I was so worried and nervous to death that time. The situation knocked my confidence down quite a bit. We went to see Dr Shahid Shamsher and have some treatment. But even after being on his treatment for a month I got worried cuz still no improvements. Later it went really well cuz after a month or so my hair starting to grow. But still i have to maintain a good health habit. I have been taking vitamin supplements too. I still have some hairloss but not the extent where i have to deal again with those patches. The second thing I've noticed is that my hair has definitely grown back a bit around my crown. My barber has noticed and I myself just from taking pictures every week. I know it's still pretty early but it seems like it's working.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a 45yr old diabetic woman. I am on all sorts of medications, ayurvedic medicines as I hardly believe in allopathic medicines. I have recovered well despite the period of ill health and am now back at work full time. This being said I have gone from having a head of wavy and curly hair to having nearly straight, very thin hair that is showing my scalp in places. Then I came across the newspaper ad of dr health clinic which sort of appealed to me so I went for a consultation to Dr Shahid. Bottom line is that’s it worked quite well for me. The thinning is stopped and I would say that almost 75% hair has grown back. I am dealing with my diabetes and its medication and I think that has also helped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Shamsher Shahid’s hair regrowth treatment is the best though it takes time to see the results. Fast forward 3 years later, I have finally gotten my hair to stop falling out and back to its healthy natural state, my only problem now was that it refused to grow and it was still very thin in the places where it came out the most. But it did start growing after 4 months when I was in the hair regrowth phase of his treatment. About 3 years ago, after having my hair “professionally colored”, my hair fall started falling out in clumps for approximately the next 9 months which stopped upto 85% during the 1st 3 months of his 1st phase treatment. So all in all it was a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took dr Shahid’s treatment for almost a year now. Seems to work for me. I could just be lucky and my hair loss would have slowed down anyways. But I don’t just want to stop hair loss, I need to regrowth my hair back. That is the reason I am continuing his treatment although it is too expensive for my pockets. My scalp is too oily and also had dandruff which has reduced after his treatment. In between this year I had to take a break from his treatment due to some personal family reasons. So after stopping the treatment I noticed more hair falling out again. But later when I resumed his treatment I did exactly as he said and by the end of 5th month my hair loss was greatly reduced. By the end of 6th month not only my hair loss had stopped but I didn’t experience oiliness or dandruff anymore. I guess my scalp had got used to the shampoo that he had prescribed and the liquid that he had given to add to the shampoo bottle.

Dr. Health consultant answered a question about the cost of the hair fall treatment in the Q&A block.They told it's cost about 2k-4k. So I went for a check up for my dandruff and hair fall. Doctor told you have severe dandruff and hair fall level of 4th stage out of 10 stages. So i agreed for the treatment. The first treatment is for dandruff and they told it costs about 8.5k for 3 months and that too for dandruff alone. Funny thing I observed by sitting there for an hour is that every patient coming there charged the same 8.5k. The medicines they gave me shocked me. One kind of liquid and one kind of sweat tablet thats it..for 8.5k. The shampoo they suggested me to buy from outside it cost about 600rs. The vitamin tablet also the didn't give. They just prescribed it so that i can buy it from outside. It's cost was 6k for 3 month. So i spent nearly 17k just for dandruff control alone including Blood test i did it outside.Hair fall control might cost another 15k that i can never pay so i stopped. So people don't get anxious by the ratings it's not for middle class people like me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am suffering from hair fall since my twenties. My dad, brother, granddad all went bald early. But assume it was aggravated by the heavy birth control pills I took for several years as well. I had tried everything under the sun which did not work for me. Then I started using rogaine 5% foam twice a day on most days, the hair max laser comb 3 times a week, taking a hair vitamin containing saw palmetto and other hair friendly vitamins, and tried to eat a well balanced diet. I also was diagnosed with thryroid, which was making the hair loss worse. Finally I went to consult a hair loss doctor. Dr Shahid Shamsher was the one who I consulted. He told me that I had a double combination of low thyroid and genetic hair loss. So since genetic hair loss is present, even correcting the thyroid will not help control hair loss. But anyways I saw an endocronologist and started taking thyroid medications. And doctor Shahid started my hair fall treatment. By this time I knew that once hair loss is curbed I will have to take efforts in maintaining it so I can postpone myself from balding early like my dad and brother by continuing eating a balanced diet and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
