The fire station is having an attached employee housing building where staff and officers reside so that they can be available immediately in case of fire in the Kharghar or nearby areas. They have an efficient staff as was witnessed during a night time fire in Bata store Sector 7 about 2 years ago which they controlled quickly.

It was 11.30 pm when I realised my cat was trapped on the second floor locked flat window. As the owner wasn’t in town so getting my cat was going to be difficult without the help of fire brigade. This was my first time to call them. When I called they promptly answered my call, took all details and dispatched their van. The team was well equipped to trap the cat. That’s another thing that my cat got petrified seeing them rise their ladder and plunged into the nearby trees, I thanked them anyways. The team was polite and without and fuss they left the scene.
