★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This remote island located on the shoreline of shivnath river is like an oasis in the dry desert landscape of the surroundings which is impressive and should not be missed.As the river splits and after travelling across two small hilltop islands unites again which might have been sacred in the 12th century and hence they built few tiny temples here which are still intact after centuries of elapsed time.The silent river among the mangrove forests of the shoreline, shining sun with mist and fog in december makes the environment a sleepy or dream village ideal for refreshing the tired mind from hustle and bustle of modern life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for picnic. It is an island on shivnath rivar located in bilaspur district. Here you will be amazed to see some beautiful historical temple and art.
In this place you can also enjoy boating and swimming. madku dweep is very peaceful place, it is far away from city's disturbance.
There is amazing place for photography and videography. One problem you would be faced that there isn't any dhaba or hotel so you have to keep your own food before visiting here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've not visited on island as river flowing above the connecting road. But, this the right time (Rainy season) to visit to get the best view of river and you can also enjoy boating.
They charge ₹50 for up-down to river island. Good for picnic purpose.
