The staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. They need to be trained in talking properly with manners to the customers who come to Mpower for help. I have too had similar bad experiences as the other reviewers here. Looks like they continue the same unprofessional behavior.

My experience with MPower has been extremely disturbing. There are many smaller issues, but this one is big enough for me to write this review. If you are a potential client, please know that asking about your therapist’s qualifications DOES NOT MAKE YOU HOSTILE. My initial screening session was with a therapist named Nitika. I was later informed, through an SMS, that my “ongoing therapist” would be Dishaa Desai. Licensed psychologists typically hold a PhD or PsyD. Since Dishaa only has a Master’s degree, I asked Nitika over the phone if I could meet with a therapist who has a doctorate degree instead. I was told none of the “therapists” at MPower hold doctorate degrees. Trying to gauge Disha’s experience, I asked how long she has been practicing at MPower. I was told she had been there for 2 months. When I asked if she has practiced somewhere else previously, because 2 months does not sound like a lot of experience to me, Nitika informed me I was becoming “hostile”, and she could not talk to me if I continued to be “hostile”, but she could refer me to an outside therapist with a doctorate degree. This is called gaslighting, and it’s appalling that a so-called “therapist” would use it on a potential client/patient. If you are seeking therapy, let me assure you it is NOT hostile to inquire into your therapist’s qualifications and/or experience. You have every right to do so. Nitika behaved in other ways not expected from a therapist over the phone, such as trying to convince me she had informed me about an appointment that she had not, and bursting into derisive laughter when I said anything she didn’t agree with. If you are seeking professional help, I would encourage you to look elsewhere, because the “therapists” at MPower are not professional - not in their qualifications, and certainly not in their behaviour.

I have had a similar experience to Simone as mentioned above. The therapist allotted to me was rude and not understanding at all, I have been visiting counselling in other places as well but this was my first time I found such a greedy and unfriendly staff. Asking for my condition and situation first would be more helpful then jumping right into the fee matters. Hope they get trained in dealing with customers in future. Rude staff, people who come to Mpower are looking for help and the last thing they need is rude people worried about money, first I thought it was only the people on the reception and WhatsApp but after a year and seen so many similar complaints here I realized that its the managment politics to be rude with needed people, otherwise they would've change long ago. I've tried for an year because we like the therapist, but after so many rude actions from the managment, they will lose a client.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. Also only interested in money. When i asked them about the experience of the therapist.. i was told to check the website. The website was silent on it and I mentioned it. I received no response. Turns out the therapist has no experience (which i checked on LinkedIn). They need all the details and immediate payment from the clients end but themselves cannot answer a basic and essential question. Way to go on the transparency.
