★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is just beside the highway. Its a dirt track along the hill slope surrounded by tall trees. The top portion of the hill is guarded by a wall and you cannot go inside. However if you want to walk amidst tall trees and soak in some fresh oxygen for a while, its ok for you.

separated from the main range of Dalma hills. The hillock is
a complete package of scenic beauty as it is fully covered
by forest. It attracts many tourists from the nearby state of
West Bengal and Odisha throughout the year.
This phuldungri Hill is famous because a very famous
bengali litreture Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay had written
‘Aranyak' as he was inspired by the forest embedded hills of
phuldungri. In his novel it shows how a man having an
urban lifestyle fell in love with nature.

The local tribals worship some deities here.
It is said that Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay used to visit this place very often.
There is nothing much to see here, but this place has a very calm atmosphere.

Its a nice place with a sprawling greenery. It is disconnected from the main range of Dalma hill. It has satisfactory level of cleanliness and well maintained. Could be a perfect seasonal picnic spot. Overall a nice and quiet place for green lovers.
