The Novel was first published in the year 1940. Apart from all these literal importance this hotel serves delicious dishes be it an Indian or Chinese. One of the finest hotels in Sealdah Main Railway segment with reasonable pricing. Only shortcoming is seating capacity is in the lower side.

You can park your car, bike and cycle here. But One disappointing thing is the Crowd. Specialy in Ge-De local.

You should confirm which train is coming and where it's going before boarding it. There is no such thing as down and up line. Any train can stop at any platform. It's bit dirty than other stations. Washroom is available. Some stalls, books, food stalls available on station. Wheelchair accessible entrance Charging point available Announcement only in Bengali. So you should know Bengali and of Don't ask someone where the train is going.
