★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When in Ranthambhor this one should be in your itinerary (If you are staying for 2 days)
With a steep & uncountable flights of stairs you arrive at the top of the fort and the view from the fort is quite breathtaking.
There is also a temple inside the fort itself which we skipped sue to time constraint.
Overall Worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit when in ranthambore. A very big fort has a Ganesh temple inside. Hire a guide if you can to understand the history. Spare a minimum of 3 hours for the fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful fort dating back to 9th century. The approach road is through the forest reserve road; the views along the way and from the fort are breathtaking. Do take a guide along to know all the enchanting stories of the fort and temples on premise.
The sad part was absolute lack of maintenance and upkeep of the fort. Too much litter all around, too much damage by visitors evident on the walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rustic fort overlooking the Ranthambore National Park. The fort entrance is very near to the Gate 3 entrance. You get a very good view of the entire Zone 3. There are many beautiful temples inside, with Ganesh Temple being the main attraction. This fort is built in such a way that it cannot be easily spotted until you are very near to it. There's lot of backstory to what had happened there and as this fort is so old, the condition is not that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UNESCO World Heritage Site:
We skipped one of the evening safaris to go to the fort..it was a good decision. The view from the top of the fort is quite picturesque !..you can see a large part of the Jungle and most of Zone 3 ( with the 2 lakes)
there are 2 temples also that one can visit..Ranthambore Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site !
there are other species to view in the national park..peacocks & 2-3 kind of deer are easily spotted..we saw a wild boar, owls and alligators..unfortunately we didn't spot a leopard nor a black bear..they are tougher to find than Tigers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fort is huge and beautiful. There are some parts which are under construction as of now. Those are not accessible but overall fort structure is good and clean. It is UNESCO heritage site. It takes almost 2-3 hours to visit all the parts of the fort. There is very famous Ganesh Temple, Digambar Jain Temple and a mosque. The view from the top is very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fort dates back to 9th century. If you love to visit historical places, you will definitely love it. The lack view from the top is amazing. The approach road to fort is through forest which adds fun to trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fort covers a large area . It has a historical essence to it and the location is splendid , full of greenery. You can see a bit of zone 3 and a beautiful lake . The road that we have to travel before reaching the fort gate is wonderful , can spot deers, peacock . We could spot a leopard inside the fort and it was amazing, it jumped from one side to another right in front of us . A little climb takes us to the Ganesha temple which is very famous there . Overall a must visit .
