Why AXIS Bank main branch is not taking cash below Rs 2 lacs in counter ?? They ask to deposit in cash machine , out of three two is not working and the one is working is also have no option of "ADD CASH" over and above it takes too much time because only one machine is working . Please also tell is there any guide line by RBI to AXIS not to take cash below Rs 2 lacs in cash counters?? Please reply !!

Rude workers. Security personal almost tried to beat. Snatched my mobile as I was using my mobile to see my photo of Bank pass book. Came here for exchanging teared notes. Not recommended.

Reserve Bank Of India, Bihar Building at Gandhi Maidan Crowded place in working hours. PMCH, Biscoman Building, Hotel Maurya and Others, Universities and Colleges, Head Post Office With Markets, Movie Theatre, Temples, Police station and Lodges are just side by. A number of Roadside tea stalls, snacks points and juice centre are on behind road or in front. Public transport preferred as of limited parking. Required entry pass to enter. Security at high. No exchange of old indian currency. One have to visit own bank for exchanging old/torn notes/currency.

I really don't know about the happening inside RBI Patna. It is to the south of Gandhi Maidan and nearby exhibition road. This work as a managing body for all the banks of Bihar relating monetary exchange, liquidity ratio and other such economic parameters to balance the economy of state to avoid inflation or deflation.

Exchange of currency has been cancelled due to COVID since 2021 When to be resumed govt knows.?
