Rebasa Matha - Puri

So recently i visited the "Rebasa Matha", which was devastated by the state government's ₹800-crore Shri Jagannatha Temple heritage corridor project. And in that large or wide space, a parking stand has made for mini-truck and auto drivers, who deliver "MAHAPRASAD" to near by areas. A 75 meter far away the main temple of Rebasa matha is situated in a unbearable condition. This 500years old monastery belongs to Ramanuja Sector, was standing over total 868 decimal area. This demolition of this ancient site began in the early 1970s. locals speculated that, before 6/7 years the last abbot of the monastery sold all the land and properties illegally, and then fled in somewhere. It is heard that, he was also involved in antique idol smuggling. This leads to a high loss in the revenue system. Due to this the saints of the monastery failed to served various services at Temple. The ignorance of (SJTA) Shri Jagannatha Temple Administration and Archeological Department of Odisha made the situation more vulnerable. A great religious organization lossed its existence and the tales of its identity remained on next generation's mouth with a '!' According to Record of Rights of Shri Mandir, the abbots of the monastery have the right to serve various rituals at Shri Mandir. The government demolished it to a depth of 45 meters, spending only money, and then took no action for inspection. After the demolition, the windows, doors and interior of the temple were in a dilapidated condition. Some people claim to be able to repair the site on their own and bring it back to the public eye, but money is a barrier. This is something that can be done if there is any truthfulness and improvement in their purpose.
