★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I fail to understand who can give rating below 5... As per me ... One of the best food in Alibaug and Nagaon ...5 people with an bill of 1250 ... Plus Special prawns costing 450rs but still your bill is 1250 ? moreover very satisfied with quantity... Is what every foodie and family person looking for ?. I stayed for 3 days and could find a good food... A must visit and just one word Awesome. No wonder till date user have given 4.6 star with 5k reviews

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently visited Alibaug and stopped at Shalimar for Lunch twice. Their prawns biryani is awesome. Bangda thali, bombil fry, Pomfret fry amused me. The mutton was a little different compared to the seafoods. It's run by a Malayali family, they are very polite. Malabar magic meets Malvan.

A good restaurants in alibag for foodies who want to taste Spicy and Delectable seafood dishes??.....?️, Chinese?,.... biryani ,.....chicken tandoori ?? and many more u can visit this restaurant by Google map OR They provide home delivery services if like to eat at your comfort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had surmai thali & prawns thali here. It was little bit different from malvani style. Something new to experience. It was good. We liked it.
Also we had dal khichdi in evening. Food is superb!
Location wise : 5 min walk from alibaug bus depot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reviews seem to be manipulated. Can you imagine stale seafood in Alibaug? Go n experience yourself. Curry too tastes bad. Exorbitant pricing. Didn't like at all. Avoid it completely if you are looking for seafood in Alibaug

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Special fish thali.In which you get Surmai Fish curry, Paplet fry, Rice bhakri, prawn biryani & Sol Kadhi.
Everything is tasty. Fish Curry & rice bhakri was exceptional !
Service is super fast & Cost is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My best eating experience in Alibaug..very close the Alibaug beach and located on the main road...highly recommended if your in a budget....great prices..small place...ample of seating and wonderfull service by the waiters the owner was also good to talk and thanks us for visiting...we ordered a Special Veg Thali and a chicken thali...totaly filling and Tasty...can remember the tast even while I'm writing the review...thank you Shalimar for the awesome food :)

Overall it's a good restaurant for family dine-in or even for take away.
