Shri Adinath Digamber Jain Atishay Kshetra, Chand kheri, Khanpur We visited chandkheri from bijoliya via kota bypass road at night. Mandir is under construction. not having much attraction. dharmsala is not good. we took non ac room which is old and small. Hot water supply in morning in tap directly. if you are on that route than visit otherwise it is totally opposite. History:Β  Here say that one night Minister Shri Kisandasji Madiya (Bagherwal), the court of state of Kota came to know that the idol of Lord Aadinathji which was in the dense forest of Barapathi in Shergarh, should be moved to somewhere else. So while doing so, the idol automatically stopped on this place. That is why it is established here. The idol is of red stone, about 6 Β½ feet tall in sitting posture (padmasana). The year carved on it is Samvat 512.Β  Sudha Sagarji Maharaj previous idols of taken out from underground cave and were kept for darshan

One of the most beautiful digambar jain teerth in rajasthan. There is very calm and soothing atmosphere. The main idol is very old. The temple was recently renovated and now is equiped to manage larger crowds. Located in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. About 1.5 hours from Kota, it's on the outskirts of khanpur town. The main idol is in the basement, it's of first tirthankar of Jainism i.e. Lord adinath also known as Rishabhdev. It is believed that the big idol of lord adinath came floating from the river to the near by shore. Locals understood that it's a jain idol and were taking to kota/jaipur where there is digambar jain shravaks so that the proper worship can be done of lord. While taking lord adinath on belgaadi, the belgaadi stopped on the spot where there is present day temple. That's the atishay of this place. Apart from this, Munishri Sudha sagar ji had a dream and took out many beautiful sfatik pratimas from a gufa which is below the temple. Due to security reasons those pratimas are kept back inside the underground gufas. It is due to this recent atishay which happened in late 90's or early 2000's people paid huge visit to the pilgrim and lots of funds were collected, so the renovation of main pratima talghar and entire temple was done. New dharamshala and main entrance doors are created.

Very nice and peaceful place. At present there is a lot of construction activities going on in and around the temple. But the end result is going to be super. You can feel the enormous and beautiful temple already.

There is an ancient Jain temple at Chandkhedi, 35 km from Jhalawar. In this one part is above the ground and the other underground, but below the underground also there is a real part of this temple, where there are iconic idols of gems. ... It is said that God protects the idols of those gems.

We had visited temple on 24th jan 2021 night and had pre booked 2 rooms for 11 members. We also told that we will do vidhan on the next day. But still when we reached they only provided 1 room that too in worst condition one can imagine. There were many other families also and all are having the same complaint about the rooms. Rooms were very dirty. Bedding were also in very bad condition. Toilets were not clean from months and smelling very bad. Full night we were in trouble as we had senior citizens and infants with us. We requested to provide a better room but the incharge denied telling that this is only room available. Also they don't have ettiquates how to talk to visitors. They denied to come and see the room condition also. The incharge told that all rooms are full and we can't provide you other rooms. When we checked 50% of rooms were locked. In the morning we came to know that half of the rooms are unoccupied but they didn't gave it. This scenario is with deluxe room also. People came from kota and made same complaint. My question to management committee of mandirji, why this kind of employees you had hired for hosting who dont know how to talk with visitors? Why you are not keeping the maintenance of room? Huge donation is coming for this mandir, where all money of donation is going? Stop filling your pockets and make the proper arrangements for visitors, otherwise people will stop visiting this place. I had attached the photos for the same. I am going to take this matter infront of shri sudhasagarji maharaj.
