From the School Sri Aurobindo and the Mother are the initiators of The New Age of Divine Man and whose world famous Sri Aurobindo Ashram is at Pondicherry. To impart the education which makes for the integral growth of the child. The Mother started an ideal school in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and named it the Sri Aurobindo International Center of Education. We as the devotees of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother,longed to serve their cause by starting a school on the lines of Sri Aurobindo International center of Education and started one at Penjendra in the year 1981 as part of “Sri Mataravinda divya jeevana Kendram”.This school was purposely opened in a village, with Telugu as medium of instruction, mainly to carry the work in rural areas. Now this is an English medium school following A.P state syllabus and Recognised by Govt of Andhra Pradesh. Prior to starting this school, study circles were formed by the devotees to carry out in-depth studies on Sri Aurobindo type of imparting education. It is thus that, on the experience gained by the above service centre, we have embarked on the much bigger project of the above name. A public trust under the above name was formed and was registered on September 11,1991 by Sri Chalasani Nageswara Rao, of Serikalvapudi, Krishna Dist., Andhra Pradesh, who is the Founder Trustee and is the guiding spirit for the kendram. The aims and objectives of the Trust are: To establish, promote and run- a)Education institutions on the lines of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother b)Health care centres for villagers and old age homes for the needy c)Boarding houses for the children and students. Libraries,gymnasiums,training and vocational institutes. The mother`s  vision of education addresses the true spiritual fulfillment of man, its object being that every child is an evolving soul which is unique and potentially divine and infinitely capable. We believe that education needs to create the right environment to enable this essence to blossom. Their aim of education has never been merely founded on achieving material success or restricted only to the ability to earn one’s livelihood as it is today; it has instead taken into consideration the flowering of the human consciousness. Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education(SAICE) at Pondicherry was started by the Mother way back during the early nineteen forties .Our school at Sri Aravindapuram, Addada, Pamarru mandal, Krishna Dt, AP is inspired by this model of education which is truly unique in the world wherein learning is a joyous journey of self discovery.
