Fake rating. We went noticing good rating but both the items omlette as well as Maggi were stinking. Just avoid.

Tourist trap with fake reviews. I’ll tell you my opinion and you can decide for yourself. We went because the place had a 4,8 rating and it was close to our hotel. We asked if they had espresso based coffee and they said yes. After digging deeper the owner, with a pigmented face, interrupted and clarified that they only have Nespresso bag coffee, which we came to avoid. We decided to get the coffee later and still eat our breakfast here. We ordered two lemon soda, two masala eggs and two tomato-cheese sandwich, with two fingers up our waiter and cook repeated the whole order. After a while he came out with just one lemon soda (with a bug in it). I picked out the bug, no problem and asked if we get two. He came back with one plain egg omelette, not the masala omelette and we asked if he got that we wanted two of everything. He had confirmed, not properly understanding the English he speaks obviously. We got all orders one by one, the first omelette without salt. We asked for salt and then the next omelette was drowned in salt, correcting our wish from the first one. So salty that it was un-eatable. At this point we were a bit amused and charmed by this young chef, and thought that the sandwiches should be great. The sandwiches were horrible. I tasted twice and could not finish the dish. Cheese tasted old and probably was not made to be heated either, with a bitter taste. The “tomato” was not present “, replaced by a bag of ketchup. The reviews. I only read them in detail after coming back to the hotel today, and many of them seem purchased or non-authentic. It is quite sad as I really rely on google reviews for my travels. Okay, I am a tourist expecting a bit more from a high 4,8 point rating, but I am not very picky. I eat mostly everything and accept that good quality varies. This was just not at all worth a dime. Okay, make up your own mind - however, consider yourself warned :) —Answer to owners feedback— 1. I never mentioned a website, you did in your feedback. So if you have something to admit, feel free. I am only saying my opinion is from reading all of them, it seems non-authentic. And I read reviews every day to make sure I choose the right places. 2. I said I asked for espresso coffee, and your chef said YES. We did not believe it, so after asking 3-4 more times in detail about how it would be made, we got a yes for espresso coffee. This is not a problem, but shows from start how difficult it is to speak with your guy. We just asked “Do you have espresso based coffee?” And the the first answers were yes, which means the communication is not good. 3. I am not bothered by it, really not, however nobody is present to actually ask if everything is okay. We were not asked once, and that just does not represent a close to 5 stars. I would say your true rating should be closer to 2,8 from our visit. Conclusion dear owner; Your food and service is way beyond standards. Good luck fixing that. I see you withdrew your first feedback now.

This is a go to place before heading to Taj Mahal for some stomach feeding. Good options in the menu and a chilled out place.

We have eaten here regularly . Almost everyday of our Agra stay we ate at this beautiful place . We liked the food . It was tasty and hygienic. They also provided vegan options on demand . You must try Gobhi Paratha , Aaloo Tamatar Ki Sabji and Missi Roti, here .We ate Roti ,Dal tadka ,Biryani , normal rice , Pakora too . Everything was tasty but taste might differ as you can cook the same food in different ways . Like Dal Tadka at this place reminds me of Awadhi Dal Tadka ( Awadh is a region in Uttar Pradesh). Food price is also reasonable. The behaviour of the owners is sweet and accomodating. So be open and try once.

Small and unassuming cafe near to the Taj Mahal. Excellent food all cooked fresh to order. Indian food with some western options. Great English spoken by friendly and relaxed staff, an oasis of calm.
