★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So Aaram is an old non AC unlimited thali restaurant in kaLanagar Bandra. If you are missing home cooked food and in search of pocket friendly thali restaurant then this place is for you.
There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but if you are longing good food then this is the place.
Affordable lip smacking unlimited vegetarian thali for just 250/- bucks. That's surely a great deal.
There are 4 types of veges offered along with two types of dal and kadhi. Then there is 2 farsan items and one sweet. Along with that gheewali roti and methi puris. U also get option between rice and Khichdi.
So this is surely a great place to please ur taste buds and also won't cringe ur pocket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simplicity and Love, these two words describe the food at Aaraam. Polite staff, good spread and time tested taste; I used to eat here 12 years ago with as much of enthusiasm as I eat today.
The ambience is old and may not be visually appealing but who cares when you get the best veg thali in Bandra East!
A must visit for Vegetarians, weekends have special additional items in the thali (at just Rs. 50 extra).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aaram restaurant in Bandra east is located on the first floor of the very shabby Hotel Aaram. But dont go by the exteriors. The food is surprisingly good. The dining hall boasts an airy atmosphere with view of the street in front. The place is neat and tidy if not modern in terms of furniture. They serve a fixed menu gujarati thali meal. The thali consists of 3 vegetables, a sweet dal, a spicy dal, kadhi, salad, 2 farsans, 1 kathol, rice, khichadi, papas and butter milk. The sweet is also very good.
The food is not at all spicy or oily which is unusual in such type of joints. Due to this one does not feel bloated in spite of gorging on the food. Like the food and would have given 4 stars but for the furnishings and the interiors....
