★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an eco resort, with their own farming. They have done up quite few cosy rooms on the ground floor and the first floor.
The owner is also a philanthropist. The environment is absolutely serene.. dining facility is available with meals served int he dining room or snacks in the room. Barbecues, hangouts with groups and primarily relaxation.. enjoy your stay. Driving in is painful because of the narrow and congested roads

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're the type of person who likes to click good pictures irrespective of everything else, this is your place to be.
Mind you, food served is something that will remind you of your hostel days, both in quality and quantity.
Drinking water is estimated at 200 ml per person per day in the scorching bengal summer with 95% plus humidity. So after breakfast if you ask for drinking water they will require a substantial amount of time before they can arrange it.
We were promised a good fishing experience which was one of the main reasons for us to visit this place. They have tiny ponds with very few fish in them.
Amongst all this you will be charged such an amount which is enough for a economical weekend getaway.
Also i should mention the streets leading to the property make the North Kolkata narrow lanes look like National Highways.
In short, great place to click pictures, sit down, have a chat, famished and thirsty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aarannyak Eco Resort, Bagnan ( Howrah ) is really an enchanting spot far away from the hustle and bustle of the city -life .It was a pleasure to us staying here for a day in the lap of nature .The staff were so personable and welcoming. The food was excellent with a taste for everyone. The room was simple and very comfortable. Aarannyak is only a few months old .So everything is new . The scenic beauty of Aarannyak is fantabulous. The deep blue sky ,the vast green field , the song of the birds and the simple rural faces captivated us . We like carefree birds enjoyed the serenity of nature. I am so glad and I want to give thanks to my dearest one to choose Aarannyak for a short trip .
I will definitely visit again as Aranyak still haunts my heart .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are amazed to receive such a warm hospitality at Aranyak along with the amenities extended. The resort was so beautiful amidst nature kissing us every moment. The food and services were so good that we never thought of being away from home. Arnab and Rina are very loving and caring. Looking forward to visit again.

We with our family spent a day in this resort and loved every minute of our stay. Would definitely visit again.. Strongly recommend to visit and enjoy the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back after a night out with a group of passionate Contract Bridge players. The host is a truly exceptional human being, with a warmth and ever smiling face, that would win you over in a flash. The property isn't an exotic one, but, the staff, their behaviour, the hospitality, the food and the serene ambience has put Aarannyak Eco Resort in a grade much above many. For the first time we all have agreed to come back for a longer stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended for a day long picnic if you are thrilled by the look and feel of a small farmhouse complete with a pond,ducks,garden,vegetables,small boats and even turtles! Do not expect a chic resort here. They have six basic rooms with medium sized bed, bathroom has geyser. We were a group 65 celebrated Republic day here and there was also a provision for flag hoisting. I would recommend visiting in a group rather than solo or couple. The kitchen staff were a bit overwhelmed which is understandable and we were accommodated in two batches in the lunch area.
Do not expect too many a la carte options here we had basic non veg bengali thali taste and quantity was average. Do walk or take a short ride around 2-3 kms of this resort its quite scenic. The road leading to the resort is more suited for two wheelers. The owner is friendly and happy to engage in a conversation with guests. I had a lot of difficulty locating the website you need to search with Our Aarannyak.
