I have been facing really terrible treatment from Mr Darshan Ingole of Aastha Legal Solutions. I had contacted him on 16 August 2021 to apply for my birth certificate. He seemed to be very caring and polite and there was no reason for me to believe anything was wrong in entrusting this task to this firm. However, it has been 2 months now and I have even paid advance of Rs 5000 to him via UPI based solely trusting his words, even without any evidence being provided about the progress of the work being done. Mr Ingole has kept postponing this and now does not even accept my calls. I have begged him to take pity on me and that I need this for my job and I am currently jobless. I suffer from clinical depression and it took me years to get out of it. Now Mr Ingole is pushing me back into depression because this was my only hope and he has broken my trust. If anything happens to me, I want this person to be held solely responsible because of the apathy that he has been showing to me. If things change for better, then I will update this post. Update on 21-10-2021 Mr Ingole promised me on 17-10-2021 and urged me to wait just for one more day, that was Monday. Today is Thursday, but I have still not received the birth certificate, nor any information about why it is getting delayed. I don't know if it is even ready because my phones are again not being answered. I cannot hold on for very long. Update 1 on 16-11-2021 I have been waiting with promises that the task will finish this week each week. Now it is back to how it was earlier. I am not even receiving any updates. Calls are not being answered. Even WhatsApp chats don't get any reply. It is very depressing when you are not even told the reason for the delay. Update 2 on 16-11-2021 I once again tried to contact Mr Ingole today and he has shared a photo of my birth certificate. I have pointed out that there are some corrections required in the birth certificate as some information is incorrect, he has assured me that he will get this done in around a week. I have made the balance payment for this final part and will wait for him to inform me about completion of this task. I am changing the rating of this review based on this new development. Update 3 on 31-01-2022 I have now been informed that the birth certificate correction application submitted via Aastha Legal Services in the middle of November 2021 to BMC has got misplaced so I will have to submit a new application. I have again emailed a scanned copy of the application for submission. Now I have been told that BMC has informed them that work on this will begin only after the 1st of March. I have also been told that BMC does not provide any acknowledgment for the submitted application so there is no way to provide them with a reference to ask for a status. In general, there is a lack of urgency being shown and no sense of seriousness in getting this done and a total disregard of how critically important this is for me.
