Aavakay - The Andhra Kitchen located in Kandivali is the finest places if you are looking for some lip-smacking Andhra Cuisine. With beautiful ambience andΒ  great service this place will soon be one of the hot spot for the people looking for delicious food. In starter we had mirapakay bhajji, Andra style chicken 65 & masala vada. Chicken Hyderabadi bhiryani from mains was my personal favourite which was rich inΒ  flavour and taste ,definitely a must try . In Dessert we had the Paruppu payasam which was perfect dessert to end your day having a happy tummy. Overall you will a great experience .

Fabulous place to dine in. From the ambience to the food, everything about this place is captivating. - We were introduced and suggested about must-try delicacies. - They've set the bar high when it comes to taste! You will surely go for subsequent rounds of dishes :) - Starters really send your tastebuds for a ride (esp. The Chicken 65!), and main courses are filling. - As for the atmosphere, the sights are imposing. You'll find great backgrounds for photos, including the wooden swing ;) - To top a cherry on your cake, do try their Pootharekulu(Rice Paper Sweet - picture attached). ^_^ Had a great time here with friends and enjoyed the Andhra Cuisine. Thank you!

Visited this place for lunch and had a very good dinning experience. The ambience cozy and the dinning was comfortable. Service was quick. We had tried: Mocktails: 1. Gauva Mary 2. Peach Ice Tea (Recommended) Appetizers 1. Mirapakay Baji (Must try) 2. Aloo 65 Main Course 1. Dum Biryani All the dishes we ordered were delicious and the quality was good. Overall a very good experience. This place is worth visiting.

It was a privilege to be offered a special off the menu sweet dish, a speciality of Andhra Pradesh PUTHAREKHO. Also Mr. Rajesh at this restaurant suggested me for a main course- Mixed Veg. TALIMPU(mixed veggies in a onion based gravy dish seasoned with southern spices. The Andhra pickle- gongura pickle too is very tasty. The incoming online orders and the walkin customers had kept flooding this place during my visit here and each appreciated for the meal that they had enjoyed here today. Restaurant name Cozy ambiance with best Andhra food They had variety of Andhra / South Indian food very tasty and delicious We had refreshing mocktails guava Mary and gateways sunrise. Their specialty in starters is chicken65 must try. Also we had masala Wada and Mirapakay baji in veg.. masala Wada is basically daal Wada and Mirapakay baji is stuffed tomato and onion bhaji in mirchi In main course we had kaju paneer which was amazing. They have amazing parathas . Must try aloo paratha and paneer paratha. I tried malabari paratha for first time which was super tasty. Must visit this restaurant if you love Andhra food

Your search for authentic andhra cuisine ends here! Aavakay, located in kandivali serves many varieties of authentic andhra food. I tried the following items here 1. Drinks (Virgin pinacolada & guava Mary) - Both the drinks were refreshing and a perfect start to our meal. 2.Starters (Andhra kodi vepudu & andhra pepper chicken) - Andhra kodi vepudu is Andhra style chicken marinated in their spices, it's a dry type of item which goes well as starters. Andhra pepper chicken as the name suggests is made out of pepper, it's a bit on the spicer side. Both the starters are a must try if here ? 3) Main course (Chicken hyderabadi dum biryani) - Perfect balance of spices, this biryani is served with raita & mirchi saalan. 4) Dessert (Elaneer Payassam)- This is a thin kheer type of dessert made out of coconut. This is very light and not too sweet to taste. The staff here is also very polite and will guide you to choose the best dishes. A must visit place if you want to try authentic Andhra style food.

There are very few restaurants in mumbai offering authentic Andhra cuisine. I came across one in kandivali east in the corner of the lane. The ambience is quite simple giving you a feel of South Indian restaurant. Comfortable seating with colourful couches. The staff is quite friendly and suggestive that will help you to choose right set of items for you if you are new to andhra cusine. The restuarant is large and cozy They also have a small bar which cute. We started our meal with Rasam which was just bursting our taste buds Then we called for mix veg pakoda which was an Andhra style preparation.the Pakoda made from Brinjal, raw banana, onion, patato, chilli served with mint chutney. We also called for mocktails like virgin pinacolada and gateway sunrise In mains we tried the mixed veg Talimpu the preparation was amazing giving you rich flavours of spices really cherished it with the Malabar paratha. They served us Aavakay pickle and podi Coming to dessert we tried semiyan payassam with lots of dry fruits The meal simple with added no preservatives fresly prepared it was super delicious They have amazing varieties in non veg too. Must explore!
