पहले इसे अजमतगढ़ फ्री मीडिल स्कूल बनारस के नाम से जाना जाता था यह इमारत सन् 1915 का बना है आस पास के लोग नार्मल स्कूल के नाम से भी जानते है
यह विधालय काफी शांत और हरियाली वाला है जिसमें कई पेड़ ,गमले,क्यारियां फूल वाले पोधे लगे है
इस विधालय परिसर मे भूगर्भ जल विभाग द्वारा 100 mm व्यास वाले 48 मीटर गहरा पीजोमीटर लगाया है जिसकी मदद से क्षेत्र मे वर्षा जल संचयन एवं भूगर्भ रिचार्ज का आकलन किया जा सके। और सोलर लाइट के दो खंभो मे चार चार सोलर प्लेट लगाया गया जिसकी मदद से रात्री मे परिसर प्रकाशित रहे ।
कुछ माहिने पहले ही हमारे कैंट विधायक सौरभ श्रीवास्तव ने स्कूल की हालत काफी जर्जर होने के वजह से इसे गोद लेकर जल्द ही इस विद्यालय को मॉडल स्कूल के तौर पर विकसित कर दिये।
यह स्कूल बेसिक शिक्षा परिषद द्वारा 3 सितंबर 2004 से संचालित हो रहा है यहाँ पेयजल की सुविधा हेतु दो हैंडपंप भी लगा है रोटरी क्लब द्वारा यहाँ लडकियों और लड़को के शौचालय के निर्माण के पीने हेतु पानी के लिए नल भी लगे है लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनाव के समय इस विधालय का मतदान केंद्र के रूप में भी प्रयोग किया जाता है।
यहाँ बच्चों के लिए मिड डे मील की भी सुविधा है सामने बने चार्ट मे सप्ताहिक मेनू लिखा है

Previously it was known as Ajmatgarh Free Middle School Banaras, this building is built in 1915. People around it also know as Normal School.
This school is very quiet and green with many trees, flower pots, flowers planted.
Ground water department has installed a 48 mm deep piezometer of 100 mm diameter in this school campus, with the help of which rain water harvesting and ground recharge can be assessed in the area. Four solar plates were installed in two pillars of solar light, with the help of which the premises were illuminated in the night.
A few months ago, our Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava adopted this school and developed it as a model school due to the poor condition of the school.
This school is being operated by the Basic Education Council from 3 September 2004. It has also installed two hand pumps for the convenience of drinking water. The Rotary Club has also installed water taps for drinking water for the construction of girls 'and boys' toilets of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Time is also used as a polling station of this school.
There is also a facility of mid-day meal for children, the weekly menu is written in the front chart.
