Yesterday we visited the Nimtouri branch. It was a really bad experience, staff don't know how to behave with customers. They were really rude to customer and was denying to answer anything(Ex. Two pieces dhakai sarees er dam chilo Rs. 3350 and Rs. 2150, jokhon ami difference jante chailam, salesman directly rude vabe bollo bolte parbo na, bollo amio jekhane apnio sekhane). In backend they were laughing to customers. Until you force them, they won't show you more sarees. Obviously we won't visit this branch anymore and I request nearby people not to visit this branch.

Collection was not as much as Kolkata...but it was decent and the shopping experience was also good...and one more thing to remember it was not a branch of Adi Dhakeshwari Bastralaya, Gariahut.

Last evening (29.11.2021) we had done an entire marketing for marriage estimating to 55,000 and more. The staffs did not mention about the coupon or offer before or after marketing. Once the bill is made and paid, we came to know about the offer which makes no sense. To cover up the issue the staff only gave a discount of rs 700 in the entire bill of 55,000. Neither did they openly said about the offer which was available for all nor they were honest in billing.

Dhakeswari Bastralaya was initially established in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1925. It was founded by the Late Kshetra Mohan Saha,in the market of Patuatuli, near Jagannath College (now Jagannath University), Dhaka. The late founder was a visionary who understood the signs of the time and its demand for a good saree shop that sold premium sarees of all varieties at a reasonable price. He was successful in his endeavor right away.
