β β β β β I wrote to these guys to offer them a chance to respond to my complaints offline without going straight to a bad review. They've not replied nor have they acknowledged my second email. So here's my message to them:
Hi,
I came yesterday for a massage with my friend Natalie having booked via Nearbuy with money-off coupons.
I was late because Ahi Spa shows to be in a different location to the hotel it's in.
Once we arrived, we were shown to the spa via the kitchen and the two therapists showed us the room.
Some 15 minutes later, they came back. The air con was far too cold and unlike other massages I've had hundreds of times in many hotels and spas, no foot soak was given. The therapists didn't ask us what pressure we preferred either.
The spa music was via one of the therapist's phones and around 20 minutes in, it rang loud then a number of messages came through thereafter. Not exactly the peaceful experience we expected.
My therapist had an unfortunate foot odour.
I know that with vouchers the spa may well feel that you shouldn't provide the normal levels of service and relaxation. However, this was a really disappointing massage and instead of putting up a bad review, I wanted to offer you the opportunity to address this.
