The institute does commendable work for underprivileged girls coming from remote villages . Accomodation and care is provided to the elderly in part of the premises.Dr Ghate was the first MBBS doctor in the whole region.He passed MBBS from Grant Medical College in 1929.He preferred to practise in the village.He has made a valuable difference to many lives.
