β β β β β The city's biggest temple of Goddess Kali. Built by the city's oldest Bengali organization, the Bengal Cultural Association Ahmedabad, the 'Kalibari' took five years to build.
Inaugurated by Swami Sadananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Sharda Peeth Dwarka on Monday, the Kalibari has been built on 2000 sq yard area. The temple has been constructed in accordance to traditional Bengali kutir (hut) style. The idol of goddess Kali has been made exactly like that of the idol in the legendary Dakshineswar temple of Kolkata. It has been sculpted by Kumartuli's Sanathan Rudra Pal.

β β β β β It may be the only temple of ahmedabad which is established by the Bengali community of the city...and Goddess KALI is worshipped over here...
Quite divine place. Location is amazing also it is quite far from the main city and here there's lot of space around to organize some functions as well.
Even the Durga Puja of Bengal Club Association 2019 was organized over here.

β β β β β This is the most important temple for all the bengalis in Ahmedabad. This is mainly the temple of Maa Kaali. But we celebrate other Festivals like Durga Puja and Basant Panchami. And many other festivals and pujas.

β β β β β Went during MahaAshtami of 2021. Very crowded - only fully vaccinated people are allowed to enter the premises. Divine idol of Mother Kali here. Goddess Durga idol was also very sublime. Free parking provided in the adjacent ground.
