Airports Allahabad - Kathula Gospur

It's BarMauli Airport known as Allahabad or PrayagRaj Airport. On Google map you need to write BarMauli to get right direction. Otherwise you should keep time to run 6km round the airport.

Clean and well maintained property , lush green surrounding . Keep it up.

Increase in no of flights and connectivity to other major cities is required

This is an imaginary concept.) Allahabad (India) at the moment has a very weak air connectivity. Since the city is the venue to the World’s Largest Peaceful and Religious gathering “Kumbh Mela”, it will need a strong air connectivity, probably of international status, In near future. The presented concept by me is an effort to fulfill the same, with reflections of Indian culture (hopefully) Plan: Plan of the concept is kept simple and in accordance to easy movement of traffic. Separate lanes for Arrival and Departure have been proposed. Vehicles may drop the passengers at respective side of terminal and then move further. A sufficient parking space has also been proposed. Terminal: Terminal of the airport has been designed between the two traffic lanes. The design is inspired by fusion of Hindu and Buddhist Temple architecture. The sideways arches shades the two traffic lanes near terminal. A separate aerobridge passing over the departure lane connects the terminal to parking bays for aircrafts for passengers. Another underground tunneled passage connecting bay and terminal is designed for luggage and other airport vehicles. Aerobridge: Aerobridge connects the parking bay to terminal, bridging over the departure lane, beholding respective gates to board the aircraft. Underground Passage: A major disadvantage of this concept would have been lack of connectivity between terminal and the parking bay for luggage vehicles. The problem has been accounted and encountered by providing an underground passage, wide enough for easy movement of several vehicles at a time. The luggage transfer system can be installed in the basement of terminal itself. Outdoor Decoration: Decoration of the terminal has been proposed in accordance with reflection Indian culture, to an extent: Buddha Statue at the entrance: The face of Lord Buddha is said to reflect peace and harmony. It acts as a perfect luck wishing charm for passengers on their journey. It also depicts the Buddhist tourist pilgrimage centre Kaushambi near Allahabad.. Fusion of Hinduism and Buddhism in concept shows secular state of India. Swastika: Hindu Culture depicts swastika as a holy starter sign for any important or beneficial beginning. Water Pond: The word Triveni (Sangam) being associated with Allahabad itself brings sense of water everywhere. So the pond in the middle is a small effort to recreate the same. Fountains give in a contemporary touch. Texture of Terminal Building: The terminal building has roof topping designed in accordance with earthen tiled roof designs, as used in old Indian houses and still predominant in rural areas of Central India. Its my hometown so I like this airport ;). This review is over :P ! Jokes apart, with the quantum of traffic at this airport and only one carrier operating out of here, one can't expect world class infra/amenities however it does justice commensurate to the related factors. Few limited food/beverage options which I havent tried yet so can't comment on the quality part. One more associated thing is that city of Prayagraj still doesn't have an efficient public transport system and Ola drivers still pose a lot of hassles ( like cash payment and choice of destination) , it would be a good idea for few AC bus services to be run from here on an experimental run at least.

Very nice place favourite place ever nice airport also enjoy your flights and enjoy much more in airport Flights provided for Bangalore , indore, dehradun, etc. Also very neat and clean airport i have seen this air port which is very gud environment and coffee shops and much more.
