★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The studio where the Ajrakh Printing process happens, is large and the wooden blocks are gorgeous! The colors are all plant colors. The main fabric color is blue from natural indigo, so the indigo vats, as well as the huge containers to boil the fabrics to fix the colors. Sun-drying is easy in this very hot region.

The name is sufficient. A world famous herbal dyeing state, hugely famous for its handcrafted febric products. Mighty talented craftsman of Ajrakh educates many students of world class fashion institutes. Dr. Ismail Khatri has recieved many national and international awards alongside his honarary Doctorate Degree from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK in 2003.
