IVF is an acronym for in vitro fertilization ('in vitro' meaning 'in glass') Hence it is also called as test tube pregnancy. It is a non surgical process by which egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside the womb.The process involves hormonally controlling the ovulatory process, removing ova (eggs) from the woman's ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a fluid medium. The fertilised egg (Embryo) is then transferred to the patient's uterus with the intent to establish a successful pregnancy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regret to visit this place. Dr Nayar is great doctor but his staff is pathetic with least manners. The labs are outdated in Chanan Devi hospital and hospital staff is ill mannered and uncivilized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this feedback after 2 months of my failed ivf attempt.
I have got my IVF done twice (both failed) from this centre but my experience had not been good. There is no doubt about doctor’s expertise but there is a lot of negligence from staff’s end.
First of all, due to age the doctor KD Nayar forgets a lot of things.
Second, its just their profession to do this process as they don’t have any soft corner for the patient. Its just the number for them. They’ll not even remember your name (ohh, that’s too much, i expected from them) and they’ll hardly bother to follow up with you. Moreover, if u’ll call then also they get irritated.
Third, they don’t have any counsellor to guide you after every step like ovum pick or embryo transfer. You’ll get the instructions in the hospital or clinic but once you are out of their premises then u’ll have to chase them for any query or doubts ( which is very obvious that u’ll have them). Also, they’ll always want to get rid of u, be it in hospital or clinic.
Fourth, this is very disheartening that they’ll not even bother to know if you have conceived or not after the embryo transfer. If you’ll call them then also they’ll not show any interest.
Last but not the least, they charge full fees like private centre but all the processes take place in a charitable hospital where the services are very poor.
After all my visits and experience with this centre, i feel that they are just concerned about money (yeah they’ll not forget to give you reminder call for payments left) and you feel conscious to ask any thing from them coz any question you ask is irrelevant for them.
Plz be careful before you choose an ivf centre for urself. Keep the following things in mind:
- doctor shouldn’t be money minded
- staff must be caring enough
- after embryo transfer follow up (super important)
- tests to done at frequent level
- don’t rush for second attempt if your first attempt fails as you kay conceive naturally due to hormones given.
- take gap of at least 3-6 months after one failed cycle.
-chances are more with frozen embryos than the fresh ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. KD Nayyar Highly Recommend by me. Doctor is very supportive & helpful, always listen problems and provide complete solutions for the same. One best thing is he is always there to help you, i have tested the same by calling him late night around 3 also and he picked my call in 2nd bell only. Another best thing is the politeness of the staff, very cheerful and always ready to support.

Finally I went to Akanksha IVF centre, did IVF and by the grace of almighty I'm three months pregnant now. Dr. K.D Nayar sir is very humble and he always tried to give all clear conceptions about my doubts and questions.The other dr.s who are working as a team and the stuffs are also very co-operative. They are always there for me to
give me online consultation and prescription which is the most essential part for me. I will definitely refer others who are willing to go for IVF/IUI under a good observation.
