आषाढी एकादशीला पंढरपूरला संत ज्ञानेश्वर माऊली महाराज यांच्या पादुकांची जायची तयारी केली जाते. साधारण जूनच्या शेवटच्या आठवड्यात आषाढी एकादशी ची वारी या ठिकाणाहून निघते . पुढे पुणे सासवड जेजुरी मार्गे पंढरपूर ला जाते. आळंदी या ठिकाणी वेगवेगळ्या भागात मोठ्या प्रमाणात भक्ती संप्रदायाचे शिक्षण देणाऱ्या संस्था आहेत. या ठिकाणी अगदी लहान वयात मुलांना शालेय शिक्षणा बरोबरच आध्यात्मिक आनंद आणि शिक्षण दिले जाते. सोबतच टाळ, मृदंग,वीणा, हार्मोनियम वादन इत्यादी शिकवले जाते. आळंदी देवाची
Alandi is the Sanjivani Samadhi site of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli Maharaj, situated on the banks of river Indrayani.
This place is considered as an important place of Warkari sect with historical tradition.
On Ashadi Ekadashi, preparations are made to go to Pandharpur in the footsteps of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli Maharaj. The Ashadi Ekadashi Chi Wari usually leaves this place in the last week of June. Next Pune goes to Pandharpur via Saswad Jejuri. In Alandi, there are a large number of institutes for teaching devotional sects in different parts of the country.
