I am a customer of this brunch, few days back i dropped a cheque of pnb bank. And i got a message that my cheque is returned so i went to the brunch to know why it got returned, so they told me that they can't say anything i have to go and talk with PNB bank brunch. I believed them and i went to nearest PNB brunch. PNB checked my matter and they helped me to understand that my bank sent that check to state bank hyderabad for clearance, where they should send it to Punjub National Bank. Then i again went to my respective bank and the check clearance person was trying to manipulate me again... But i clearly said listen me first.. Why you sent it to state bank for clearance, where you supposed to send it to PNB Then that person went to someone and after few time the person told me that i may go they will do the necessary works.

A very old bank with a huge customer accounts, it is always crowded. Number of staff is less compared to their present customer base. Bank staff are very co-operative and helpful, good customer service. They have installed one cash deposit machine and one pass book printing machine, but most of the time they are out of order.

This branch of Allahabad Bank is very old and it's on first floor without lift facility. The branch is average in terms of service: some services are fast while a lot them are not as there's a huge staff crunch since the number of customers is very large. Improvement in quality of service is required.

Most worst bank service. Employees are not aware of there proper job ethics and professionalism. This bank need to be place on proper AUDIT by our respected government dignitaries.

I visited Allahabad bank on 15th July 2012. In July post lockdown I am visiting various banks as have to change the primary holder for different accounts for my father who passed away. All other banks except Allahabad bank was supportive of the fact and helped with suggestions if not immediate resolution. I was taken aback by the way Dumdum branch Allahabad bank operates. The following issues I would like to highlight which I feel needs to change or improve. 1) The bank staff following COVID precaution protocol and staying away from public (which I acknowledge and in complete agreement) but they are least bothered about the safety of the common crowd walking in the bank. No protocol is being followed like social distancing, wearing proper mask, etc 2) We understand due to restriction they might have skeleton staffing but the limited staff they have, have limited or no knowledge. For every issue they were referring to senior or managers and making the people wait for long time in queue. People are ready to wait but in spite of long queue the number of people I spoke to none had a satisfactory resolution for their respective issue. 3) There was a lady (missed her name) who was sitting in the first counter she was very arrogant and egoistic. Whatever was asked she was intentionally taking time to answer something which I felt was unnecessary. 4) There was an Ops Manager, a lady sitting far away from crowd (if your issue is serious enough will reach to her) she doesn’t even look at the people who were speaking to her for their challenges. She was completely unapproachable (I mean even to address issues she was unapproachable). If she is working as an Ops Manager it’s her responsibility to address the challenges which she was completely ignoring. Another bad experience to add to my visit. Overall very bad experience of the bank visit today. I would really rethink multiple times before I visit the Dum Dum branch Allahabad bank again. Please let know the common crowd walk to the bank because we have challenges to address. Respect and acknowledge that and not sit oblivious to the fact.
