★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love allahabad with all my heart..but the station is not that good. It's such a big station with 10 platforms but still station is not of great standards. Lift is available at platforms but most of times, you will find it non working. 7-8-9-10 platforms are not so clean. 6 no. Platform is still a Mistry for most of the travellers. This things need to be sorted out and a underpass is must at this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the time escalators do not work. Food and other beverages are available at platform no 1, rest of the platforms do not have that much facilities. But tea, coffee, snacks and other edibles are available at all the platforms. Platforms are clean. Public transport is available from both side but shared auto is available from platform no 1 exit. To reach bus station, exit from civil lines side( platform no 6,10) is convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Allahabad / Prayagraj during Kumbh 2019 . You can’t even imagine the human traffic coming to the station . But hats off to the management and security , everything went so smooth . Not a single trash on platform .
Facilities like :
Doctor ,
First aid ,
Too many reservation counters ,
Endless number of waiting seats ,
Police and RPF on every 5-10 meters ,
Announcing for lost people , train arrivals .
So many food counters ,
Easy transport to and from the destinations .
Marvellous!
I would have rated 5/5 but then I saw one VIP came and public got crazy to see him . Even police were clicking selfies with him . That was something I did not like and appreciate.
