β β β β β Nothing Fancy. Just a coaching institute with different courses for students from grade 6th (I suppose) up to grade 12th and dedicated batches for JEE and other competitive entrace exams.
Went there for an enquiry regarding admission of one of my friends' younger sibling. At the reception you get to fill up a form for no reason and you gotta wait like 10 minutes before interacting with the "head sales lady" just so you know they are "really occupied". That's just a cheap-o, out-of-date marketing strategy most professional institutions use even today, like C'mon guys!? Grow up! Everyone sees you ain't doing nothing sitting there! The reception doesn't even have proper seats that you can have a seat on before you are "ALLOWED TO GET INTO THE HEAD SALES CABIN"!
As for the classes, prima-facie, looked claustrophobic and dull. The receptionist and sales team over the counter usually throws big words in english to confuse humble parents' and students to buy into their programme. Out of my interaction regarding the fee structure and course, the only thing I grasped is buy quick to get a "scholarship" aka discount. There was absolutely no explanation to what is what, how does the course structure works, how does the fees structure works. Allen is a big name in the game of educational institutions, and the Patna facility is surely putting it down. I dont know why and how is anyone convinced to buy into their programme as for their sales team's performance goes. Don't know about the quality of education, but one thing I can judge with this experience is they surely ain't running a great business here, which interprets how average their educational services are to be expected. Just on the name of "Allen Kota." Worthless. Don't know about others, but I most certainly wouldn't spend THAT amount of money for MY KIDS to go into a LAME educational institution running on the FAME of a great one.
