β β β β β Baaaaaad bad bad. The Kolkata biryani was so bad I couldn't finish it, and I eat like a trashcan!! Dry, stale and flavorless biryani, and stringy, old chicken (or pigeon?). Don't recommend this place at all

β β β β β Small space to sit but for good food I can adjust here. Though it take 15-20 mins to prepare your food. But seriously they try their best effort. Delicious food, nice service.Must try .

β β β β β Very good place for bengali foods, quality of food is always excellent. Not to worry about the quantity and price both are very convincing. Overall 100/100.

β β β β β Food for Bengali soul.
The soothing bangla gaan with yellow painted walls will drive you into nostalgia.

β β β β β Good food but deplorable packaging of items if you are ordering a takeout. Today one of the containers was open and all the gravy had come and filled the bag. See the photo--are they sending food for dogs? . The guy who usually picks up the phone is very rude and arrogant. They might as well eat the food they make.

β β β β β Cleanliness 2/5
Ambience 2/5 (for romantic dinner, I would choose something better)
Space value 2/5 (little space, no much gap between two tables, not good for a large family dinner...up 4 people is fine)
Menu diversity 4/5 (most of the listed menu were available)
FOOD QUALITY: 4/5 (good food but not typical of Kolkata, nothing could found special # Biryani, Chingri malaikari, Fish chop)
Food AMOUNT: 3/5 (need to increase as per price)
Cost- quite high
8000/- for 5 people..only starters mainly.... not even a full belly meal
(Service charge 700/-)
If you have a 'six digit' monthly income and you are not bothered much about 'some wastage' of that money, then you may think to have some time there.
All the best ??. Enjoy.

β β β β β Visted in Feb 2022 for authentic bengali food. Ordered beguni, aloo jhuri bhaja, radhaballavi and aloo dum.
Aloo dum was little sweet, beguni was really good. I liked jhuri bhaja and radhaballavi also.
Overall the food was enjoyable. Ambience can be improved.

β β β β β Courteous staff. Small sized restaurant on first floor above annapurna sweets in market-2. Had drove there to taste true bengali food. Honestly, food was bit too spicy for our taste. Portions were good-sized but I have eaten better tasting bengali food elsewhere. Tried kosa mangshu, pompfret fry, egg sorshe, rice, rumali rooti, aloo jhuri bhaja. Price reasonable- 1300/- for 3.
