★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a gem. It is amazing to find the waterfall after a long trek almost 6kms from the nearest village. You could either walk, drive off roads if you have a 4x4 or ask a villager who usually offers to give you a ride on their tractor for some money. We choose walk, it was too muddy due rain but the reaching the waterfall felt rewarding. A must visit place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place for tracking during the rainy season but try to avoid going there in heavy rainfall because there is no way to get a vehicle in there as the track is very slippery because the back soil is wet and mushy(it gets muddy and you need to walk barefoot as the mud get super sticky and slows down your pace), you need walk at a faster pace and try to avoid start your track after 11 pm I would recommend you to have a really big company (10-20 people) and they should have the courage to walk around for 2 hours to reach there and 2 gets back ( add 1hr for having food, rest and dipping the water near the fall ) it will take 5 or 7 Hours (if choose to have more rest or to enjoy the waterfalls) choose your time wisely, I would recommend you to start your track at 6,7 or 8 am which would give you ample time to enjoy the nature. (Please try to get back before it gets dark)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amargarh Waterfalls, formed mostly because of rainwater, can be seen in its full strength during raining season. Thus best time to visit is between July - September. Weekends would be rush and crowded.
You can set the destination in Google maps from Bhopal and either follow the route for Shahganj (nearest district) or via Kolar road towards salkanpur.
There are more than one way to reach waterfall via trekking. Be prepared to trek for 5-8km one-way depending on route taken. My recommendation would be to get a guide (village local guy) for 300 INR, if you wanna walk less else explore and reach.
You will need to cross multiple streams, so better get trek or sports shoes. And yes, it will get dirty as the route will be muddy.
Prepare the day backpack with snacks, banana and water bottle as the trek is exhausting. And extra pairs of cloth, if you wanna bath.
Make sure, you don't litter the place.
Atlast, enjoy the nature's best creation at the outskirts of city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a true lover of nature or adventure you can not miss to visit that place. You have to must go and feel the real adventure or trekking experience. It is about 60km to reach from bhopal and located in saidganj village on the road of NH-12 hoshangabad road. After reaching the village you have to walk approx 5km to saw real nature attractions. The way to reach out is muddy so must pack trekking shoes take some drinking water and not to forget about your vehicle's safety.

Easiest way to reach there is by tractor. Usually Villagers nearby to the last spot where concrete road ends to Amargarh offer a tractor service which anyone can hire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. Although you have to walk around 6 kms. to reach the waterfall but it is worth to travel 6 km. We also discovered a small waterfall above the mountain.
