Situated at an altitude of 1065 meters, Amarkantak is a hill station that offers visitors some of the most exquisite temples that one will ever see. The Narmada river, one of India's Holy Rivers, originates from Amarkantak rendering this place special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a place to some mild trekking in Amarkantak area. With very limited information on the internet, we had little clue on how to plan our trip. We talked to Mr Das on phone and he shared valuable information on how to plan our route. When we arrived at Amarkantak, he planned everything for us, and provided us local guide that was great too.
Overall, we were impressed with how Mr Das went over and beyond to help us. He drove our car himself to pick us up from the end of trek route. Besides being an excellent planner, he had genuine interest to make our trip memorable.
I would recommend to contact him whenever you plan a trip to Amarkantak area.
