Blessed to experience one of the oldest Shiv temple (11th Century) nearest to mumbai There is an extreme necessity for the local municipality or the local elected amdar to look after the renovation & maintenance of the temple hope they look after it Rest Mahadev is divine his positive energy can be experienced with pure devotion. ? હર હર મહાદેવ ?

One of the oldest shrines of Lord Shiva and the carvings inside and outside the caves are a state of marvel with hindu architecture, idols and animal decorations. The structure of the mandir looks strong and also looks beautiful from the inside. Since this is a holy place there's something pure about this place. This is considered to be built by the Pandavas and is said to carved out of a single rock which is a marvel in itself. Structure being about more than 1000 years still looks strong and well maintained and is a delight to visit this place.

One of the oldest Shiv mandir in Mumbai region. It's build by Shilhar king Mahamandleshwar Mamvani Rajdev in 1060ED. It's also very old temple with sculps on walls. Nearest Railway station is ambernath and from there you will get share auto which takes 20₹ to drop at the temple.

Must visit The architecture of the temple gives one goosebumps. Difficult to imagine that it was carved out of human hands that too around 1000 years ago when there were no tools, implements, etc. It's sheer magical. The main mandapam is underground, which is more mesmerizing. Divinity, magic, peace, serenity, oneness all merged into one...
