★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were on table no. 1 for dinner at Firangipani restaurant, family of 5.
Ambience is good, seating is spacious, ample parking.
Hopelessly slow service despite urgent and busy looking waiters moving rapidly across the aisles.
Soup came late it was luiewarm, starters were much delayed, veg starter came 20 mins after the non-veg started and main course we waited for 30 mins even after plates had been laid out in front of us. The plain rotis were cold by the time food was served. Dessert and bill too were delayed. No one paying attention to the next needs. Had to call the waiters repeatedly, each time. Water bottle at our table was empty, had to remind the waiter to replace/refill it.
We have been here several times before, but this experience was very bad.
On top of it they levied 10% service charges in the bill for such slow service. Not recommended if you are looking for quick attentive service.

I dont blame Waiters as they were trying their best to give a good service. But management is worse. And irony is they are into hotel management.
Food was ok. Did not find extra ordinary menu.
Overall its just a place where you can kill your time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located about 2km off the Bangalore Mumbai Highway(it was Bangalore Pune NH4 earlier), about 5km from Chandani Chowk, the resort is nestled into a inconspicous yet accessible area. The last 200m of road leading to the resort is in poor condition.
There was something typically cold about the way we were received. We had driven down hard to reach here for old times sake and had somehow made it inside the restaurant at 2.59pm (closing time is mentioned as 3.00 pm). But it was almost as if they were unhappy to have us around. Didn't feel welcome at all. But probably it was the one waiter out of the three around who gave us this impression.
(This was the reason that I refused to pay the service charge of 10%, instead tipping another head waiter who salvaged the situation)
The food that we ordered was very tasty, sufficient portions and more or less worth the cost. Four of us vegetarians ran a bill of Rs 3200/- without alcohol, but including wonderfully served large portions of brownie with ice cream.
Coming to the best part. The set up of the restaurant is simply beautiful. Has retained the charm of two decades ago. It has options of sitting in tastefully decorated gallery or in the AC hall - which is also airy and spacious enough with large glasses that do not hinder the outside view. You can easily come and spend 2-3 hours here, enjoying the quietitude, a good round of drinks and lunch. Ideal for families, kids and equally good for a business lunch or a romantic date.
Overall experience is of 3.5 stars, which could have easily been 4.5 stars with a better waiter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The places was pretty good, the ambiance specially was nice. They have many different parts of hotel and good amount of space to carry out the programs. Food I ate was okay can’t tell much about it. So you want to have wedding or any party they are available to serve you.

The resort is beautiful and nicely located not too much on the outskirts but perfectly blended in the city but still you won't feel like one.
Of course something to have for a great lunch or dining , even with the facility of a private dining room is wonderful.

We were in the vicinity and went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The location is far from the city. Reaching there is a bit of hassle unless you are nearby.
There is ample parking space inside the compound so needn't worry about your vehicle. There are multiple restaurants inside the premises.
The Frangipani restaurant is spacious and seating space is quite large. The service was a bit slow. But everything was done right. The food is great though it's a bit expensive.
Overall the experience was good and the restaurant is still a good option even in 2022.
