is the nearest place of worshipping goddness and Kali mandir and mahadev pahadi is also near this station.

Overall it's a average rating station
Some express stop here such as Intercity express, Chattisgarh express, Kurla-Hawrah express, Ahmedabad express....
Local stops here pretty well more time than other small stations
My experience here is not that good

New foot over bridge is under construction and Ticket counter along with Automatic TIcket vendor well connected with By road having transportation from 6Am to 10PM .

Amgaon is believed as the birthplace of the Sanskrit poet Bhavabhuti. Kali maa (Hindu Goddess Kali) temple and sai baba temple (located in salekasa road) is two of the main attractions in Amgaon. Nearly 10,000 people gather around this temple in Navaratri to worship. The city is one of the large producers of Beedi and rice in Gondia district.
