★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I won't recommend this doctor to anyone. Almost 9 months ago I planned on getting my LASIK surgery done from Dr. Amit Patel. However, things didn't went as planned. I was taken to the operation theater and there he started operating my right eye. Even after operating on it for 10-15 minutes the doc wasn't able to succeed in his surgery. The doc told me that my eyes are dry and surgery can't be performed, even though all the pre-surgery tests and reports suggested that my eyes are totally ready to go under LASIK surgery. Today, as a result of that unsuccessful surgery I've lost almost 15% of the vision in my right eye and this isn't something that would heal with time. I wish I never consulted this doctor. Consulting him and going under surgery with him was one of the most regretful decisions of my life. Wish I could go back in time and change a few things.
