★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go looking for a place to dine-in. It's a take-away place, occasionally (if they are in the mood, and you are not too far) also delivers.
They normally request for you to order at least 3 hours in prior. It's homely, no doubt. I've only ordered once, and I have a feeling I might order again. Doesn't really work for someone who makes last minute plans (unless you are willing to wait).
In Ahmedabad, what I miss most is the Kerala rice, and Ammu's serves that. If you're looking for authentic Kerala food, I would suggest you give it a try.
