★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is undoubtedly one of the best roll shops in Kolkata. Don't go by the appearance of the place, it's just a roadside food vendor setting shop on a thella on the footpath with an unusual croud gathering in front of it.
I had the opportunity to taste chicken roll which costs about Rs55 per piece. I must say that this roll is not at all the rolls I had already tasted before, paratha is a thin crust, which has the best mixture of crunchy n juicy feeling. The chicken slices are also minced finely and prepared in a gravy. Unique thing is that the chicken pieces and salad are not kept one above the other, but side by side which gives you a better taste on biting side to side.
Hope some of you visit the thella for your evening bite. It's not very difficulty to locate, set shop on the north side footpath of New Alipore triangular park, beside the mother dairy milk booth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very famous place for rolls in south Kolkata. Heaven for roll lovers. They have an amazing variety of rolls in veg as well as non-veg.
I am a vegetarian, my personal favourite is potato rolls. Well my friends tell me that egg roll is amazing.
But definitely hygiene is a little concern.

Thin crispy paratha, with respective stuffings, garnished with lemon, chilli, corainder...simple yet delicious! Their mutton roll have a smoky flavor which is kinda addictive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anamika rolls are the best in town. If you are looking for mouth watering finger licking rolls reach here and you will never feel disappointed. They are fresh and made in front of you. Though if you are a vegetarian and do not prefer non veg touched utensils then I would not recommend but if you are ok with same tata cooked rolls then give it a try. They start after 4pm only till 10pm
