★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service and very unprofessional staff. We booked Innova (MH06 AZ 5071) in Mumbai from Anant tours and travels...
Car has got tampered meter. We travelled from Mumbai Airport to Khed and returned from Khed to Mumbai via Lonavala... As per google we travelled exactly 522 km however the car showed that we travelled 846km which is more than 1.5 times extra charge...
Not only that our car broke down on highway (no food no water nearby) and we had to push the car so that it could start... AC broke down, speedometer broke down and what not... We asked for another car but it was not provided to us... Owner switched off his phone so that we can not trouble him more however the rude staff of this agency continued to make us fool for next 4 hours... We had to arrange the mechanic by ourselves because the driver clearly denied leaving the car behind and was not willing to step out of car at all... He asked us to push the car multiple times in the mean time...
When we said that we will deduct money for extra distance, misbehave and torture, the staff threatened us that they will meet us at airport, "NOT ALONE" (I presume he meant to say that he will bring goons)... Also he said "AIRPORT ME GHUS NAHI PAOGE" (translation- You wont be able to go inside airport). After quarrels and long long discussions we were forced to pay the amount quoted by anant tours and travels...
The travel agency forced us to pay by saying that there were some "HIDDEN TERMS AND CONDITIONS" that very traveler already knows beforehand like- (1) you can not divert the route if driver does not know the route (we diverted as google maps suggested and we did not follow driver's suggested route i.e. the long route), (2) you can not stop the car for dinner inside mumbai area as it will be counted a pleasure trip for which charges are even more than double so you should have dinner outside mumbai at some dhaba, (3) you have to pay driver a full day amount if you do not free the driver by 11:59pm sharp, and the list went on... We have booked cars in past as well but never faced such people...
I would recommend not to travel through this agency specially this car (number mentioned)... If you are in need they won't help you but will charge you so much that you would regret your decision, just like I do...
Please go for Zoom car, Ola outstation, Drivezy etc for cheaper and happier experience...
