पुरातत्व विभाग के अंतर्गत आने की वजह से इसका सौंदर्यीकरण नही किया गया है, मंदिर तक पहुंचने का रास्ता बहुत छोटा और रास्ते पर बना पुल काफी ज्यादा नीचा होने की वजह से बारिश में यहां पहुंचना मुश्किल है.

It has not been beautified due to coming under the archeology department, the way to reach the temple is very small and the bridge on the path is very low because it is difficult to reach here in the rain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ यह मंदिर बहुत ही पुराना है अती प्राचीन काल से यहां मौजूद है ।
इसे गोंड शासक जो के हैहय वंश के थें उन्होंने बनवाया था 16 वी शताब्दी में पहले,इस मंदिर के प्रांगण में बहुत सारी मूर्तियां बिखरी पड़ी थी और उनकी सुरक्षा को लेकर कोई पर्याप्त इंतजाम नहीं किए गए थे । इसी बीच यहां लूट हुई थी जिसमें लुटेरे ने चौकीदार को पेड़ से बांध कर बहुत सी प्राचीन मूर्तियां चुरा ले गया।
उसके बाद शासन ने यहां सुरक्षा को लेकर नया संग्रहालय बनवाया और उसमे कीमती मूर्तियां रखी गई है और मंदिर अब बिना मूर्तियों के है ।
This temple is very old and has been present here since ancient times.
It was built by the Gond rulers who were of the Haihaya dynasty. In the 16th century, before the temple complex, many statues were scattered and no adequate arrangements were made to protect them. Meanwhile, there was loot in which the robber tied the watchman to a tree and stole many ancient idols.
After that, the government built a new museum here for security and precious idols have been kept in it and the temple is now without idols.
