Its a kind of station where only Local trains make stop. A station that is near to Burdwan. There is hardly any rush here and as there is no rush, the platform looks quiet and clean. You'll usually find more goods train here than passenger trains.

A small railway junction station consists of 4 pfs. Neat and clean. Ticket country and enquiry rooms situated at pf1. No wheelchair accessible entrance is there. A small parking is there along with auto and riksha stand. Lots of greenery is there surrounding the station which add some natural beauty.Foot over bridge is there for crossing the platforms. All the basic amenities are available.

Despite the fact that this is not a large junction, many express trains on this route stop here. Platforms are inaccessible to wheelchairs. Good Junction ?. But the only problem is there are only 1 express train ? a day from Sainthia to Andal which is Mayurakshi, but it stops at every station. So the experience was not that great. And thare are a few local trains ? from Sainthia to Andal but most of them have a problem with delay. If it was helpful to you ? Hit Helpful button ?
