★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience at Anjali Designer Studio.
I tried on an indo-western lehenga in L size, but I wanted to purchase in XL size, which they did not have in stock, but they assured me they could source from elsewhere. They kept asking me if I would take the L size and allow for it to be loosened by the tailor in their shop who does alterations, to which I replied that I did not want to - I wanted an XL size, so that there would be room in the seams to loosen in the future if I needed to.
I paid the deposit, and the shop phoned me in two days to say that the XL size had arrived and to come and collect from the shop. That evening at the shop, I paid the full amount and it looked okay. The total price was over Rs11,000 so it wasn't a cheap purchase. The next morning I took a closer look at the lehenga and that's when I realised what they had done - they had just loosened the existing L size (I could tell from the previous stitching marks that still existed and very minimal seam allowance remaining) and attached a fake "XL" size label (the old stitching marks were visible around the label too).
I could not believe that they had cheated me like this. I went back to the shop the next morning to demand a refund because they had not given me a genuine XL size, and rather than being apologetic about their cheating manner or embarrassed that they had been caught out, they accused me of having worn it, so they wouldn't refund me. I certainly had not worn it, so how could they accuse me of lying?
I could not believe that the liars were calling me one. I shouted and created a scene and threatened to call the consumer affairs in Anand, so they eventually gave in to my demand of a full refund.
Having a fancy, slick shop usually means that you treat your customers with respect and don't insult their intelligence. This is not the case with Anjali Designer Studio and I wouldn't recommend shopping here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think having gud collections of ladies dresses is not a very big job.Staff members of the store those who r working there they should follow some good behaviour pattern.This is city anand .Small town. So people can accept but actually everywhere its not acceptable.So pl take care.
