Founded almost 4 decades ago by Mother Teresa adherent, Annie Joseph, the Center is one of two properties Ankur Kala have in the area. One functions as a showroom and administration office, and this Center is for training on various skills such as canteen food preparation, batik, silk screen, tailoring, etc.

But...... what I have actually gained was much more. Their moto, their working system, their products all are wonderful. It will be incomplete, if I don't write anything about the women's of Ankur Kala. They all are wonderful people. And Mrs. Annie Joseph is a living inspiration. I want to wish them all the good wishes for their wonderful organization.
