★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CRDA means Capital Region development authority. This has been establshed in the place of VGMT Development authority.
After separation of Andhrapradesh and Telangana, AP government wants to construct a State Capital by named Amravati,near Vijayawada.So AP government has been decided to develop the Vijayawada and Guntur Districts areas which comes under Capital purview,for Andhrapradesh State Capital.
On this way AP govt declared separate Authority for State Capital construction and land acquisition and established CAPITAL REGION DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.

Belongs to government of Andhra Pradesh. Works under municipal administration department. Most senior and efficient officer's are working here for the New capital city and for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ APCRDA is now changed into Andhra Pradesh Metro Development Region as the state government changed and also policies changed. Present government cancelled APCRDA but it is still in court disputes other than all duties are going on normally in this office.
