★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apsara has been a popular ice-cream brand in Mumbai and that is where I had my first ever mind blowing Guava ice-cream. I was stunned when they asked me masala for the first time, Ofcourse the foodie in me said bring it on. And then it felt like I was having guava the likes you have on a road trip when you stop to get guavas and they sprinkle the masala. It was just identical but was better because it was nice and cold. The ice-creams at Apsara have always been good quality. No wonder they have been in this business for half a century. They know what they are doing.
This time around we tried their belgian chocolate in cone and also the watermelon sorbet. The sorbet was a little too sweet for my taste buds but the chocolate cone was really good. Silky chocolate ice-cream and chocolate sauce as topping with the crispy cone can never go wrong.
